History of Halloween

American people or people in another country, "Halloween" always identical with wear scary clothe and decorat its house with scary things. One thing that never remainder is Jack O'Lantern, it's made of pumpkin that there's a candle in it. That pumpkin usually carved with scary shapes. So it can flame scarily. But there are a lot of things for "Halloween" celebration, those things like a bat thing, a skull thing, etc. But why those things or those scary things always there in "Halloween"?
What's the history?
There are a lot of theory of its, but there's one theory that can accepted of many people. This theory says "Halloween" is from celebration of Galia ancient nation, that celebration called SAMHAIN(end of summer). People of Galia ancient believe if in Samhain day (31 October) the border of occult world and obvious world will be slightest till occupant of occult world can cross to our world. Because that on the Samhain day, they make a big celebration for their ancestor to invite them for dislodge creatures occult. why is it called Halloween?

Then the church adopted Samhain day be All Hallows Evening, with expectations they can leave the celebration. From that name (All Hallows Evening) the inmate shirtened be Hallow's Even. Gradually that name being shorter than before, that's HALLOWEEN.
